
Brendan C. Murphy, PA-C Physician Assistant
Brendan C. Murphy, MPA, PA-C, CAQ-OS is a certified physician assistant with advanced qualifications in orthopedic surgery. With over a decade of experience, Brendan works closely with Dr. Matthew Diltz, specializing in sports medicine, and helps care for patients both in the clinic and in the operating room.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Brendan graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo with degrees in Classical Languages and Psychology. He later trained as an MRI technologist and spent five years working in orthopedic imaging before pursuing his Physician Assistant degree at Loma Linda University, where he graduated with honors.
Brendan’s clinical training included orthopedic surgery at a Level II trauma center, along with additional rotations in emergency medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, and family medicine. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and has earned a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Orthopedic Surgery.
Brendan lives in the Coachella Valley with his wife, their son, and their dog. He enjoys hiking, running, and has completed multiple triathlons, marathons, and ultramarathons. He’s passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love—whether that means competing at a high level or simply enjoying a pain-free lifestyle.
