David Delgadillo, PA-C

“Success is not what you do, but rather what you do for others. The ability to practice medicine and make a positive impact on people’s lives makes this all worthwhile.”
David Delgadillo, PA-C, a graduate of USC School of Medicine, joined Desert Orthopedic Center in 1995 following his academic achievements and several years of experience. He assists Dr. John DeSantis and has worked with Dr. Adrian Graff-Radford, Dr. Robert Murphy and our other joint surgeons who specialize in total hip and knee replacements, as well as complex revisions and knee arthroscopies.
Born in Texas and moving to Southern California in his early childhood, David completed his under graduate degree in Biology at California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1990. While at USC, he graduated with honors at the top of his class in primary care medicine and surgery. David completed all rotations including general and orthopedic surgery.
“Working with a top notch surgeon is great. In the operating room, we work as a team.” David adds, “There are many physician assistants who either work in the office or in the operating room setting which is great, but doing both is the best. This allows me to see the patient pre-operatively, assist in the surgery and follow the patient in the hospital as well as the post operative and recovery period.”
David is board certified by the NCCPA (National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants) and a fellow of the American Association of Physicians Assistants as well as a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
David is also fluent in Spanish and is an accomplished guitarist.
