Lindsey Smith, PA-C joined Desert Orthopedic Center after attending Western University of Health Sciences where she received a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA). Lindsey works with Dr. Ghassan Boghosian and assists in a variety of orthopedic surgeries, adult primary and revision joint replacements of the hip and knee.
Lindsey’s clinical training at Western University of Health Sciences included rotations in family medicine, emergency medicine, and rheumatology, as well as an extended, specialized orthopedic rotation with Corona Temecula Orthopedics. Lindsey grew up in Temecula and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University San Marcos. Throughout her undergraduate studies she worked as an EMT for a private ambulance company in San Diego.
Lindsey is board certified by the NCCPA (National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants). Her professional affiliations include a fellow member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA), California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), as well as a member of the Physician Assistants in OrthopedicSurgery (PAOS).
Lindsey enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family.
